The Altoona Curve raised over $7,000 on Saturday night with its Jersey Off Their Back Auction to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Zach Duke's postgame live jersey auction alone raised $600.
The jersey design was Irish-themed with a shamrock behind the player's number on the back as well as a special patch on the left sleeve in memory of McEachern, who lost her battle with a rare form of aggressive cancer in May 2009.
